Shrimps alive,

 Yesterday afternoon and this morning, i had to tie up some shrimp patterns of mine and some old ones. to go to north Wales, the badger shrimps are patterns i tied up some years back. and have worked well on a lot of waters, above is my ghost shrimp when in the water being worked it looks amazing. and the fish love it to have had Sewin / Salmon and Bass on this one.
 Above is the Ginger shrimp, works well on clearing water or peaty water.
 The red shrimp, take fish early and late in the season.

 And of cause the Tyne Toucan, this fly is still in big demand. i have now tied over 1300 of these in the last four weeks,

Blue Charm's and guess what.

 Set of Blue charms, ready to go to Tyne & Wear for a swim. Made a mistake on size in the photo, the 7 should be 9.

 Here is a new one, Orange tube Toucan. since i started tying the orange toucan, they have gone very well.

Hi, Been tying today, had a bit of a change of flies. tying some blue charms and guess what, yes Toucans again but will say over the last month. i have been tying them ever day now,

Single's

Been trying to tie up a few flies for myself, ready for the season which starts 1st April. can't wait to get on the river after those sewin, plus the bass are starting to show. my mate had a lovely fish of 11lb 12oz about 10days ago, when they are in numbers will be after them on a fly.

The Toucan are still being asked for by the ton, coming up to near 1000 flies tied now. 

But have started catching up on my tubes and snake flies, will post them soon along with my new fly boxes i have had made.

Welsh Fly Fair show, Saturday 3rd March.

The weekend, Saturday 3rd of March, was the Welsh fly fair show. a great day was had by all from what i could see. lots of smiling faces, and guys meeting up and having a good chat catching up over a drink . And also topping up on there fly tying materials.

 Dewi William, Well known for his Irish Mayfly patterns.
 Peter Jones, another fine sewin angler who fishes the river Ti.
 Well what can i say about this chap, top sewin / salmon angler.  the one and only John Graham the jambo man.
 Malcolm Edwards, another fine small fly tier.
 David Wolsoncroff-Dodds, Well known for his pike flies.
 Emyr Breeze, fine tier of competition flies and fisher.
