Will not be long now,

 Well, it will not be long now, and we will all be out on the rivers. above is a nice shot of my mate Spencer John, putting out a line on the river Usk. and just after the photo was taken he landed a nice 13lb salmon, 
 Been very busy tying orders, above showing a set of flies tied on partridge salar's sizes 7, 9, 11 & 13s. all the photos below are of the flies tied on size 13s, Brian hope you like them.

 Above, another order of Elvers, for the river Spey. tied on my snake fly mounts two sizes 4"inch & 3" inch long, Paul hope you take more Spey salmon again this season.

 In between orders, i do try and tie a few for myself, these are a pattern i like a lot the Akroyd tied on Partridge single's size 5. a great pattern for both sewin and salmon,

 I have also sent a lot out to Norway this last month, above the Garry Dog waddington shank.
 And my glow in dark Squirrel blue and silver off to Norway.
 And also my Black glow in dark snake, off to Norway. hope all three patterns fish well, 
 As you can see, my tying desk is a bit of a mess.
Think i will have to get the maid in, to sort out the floor :-)))

British Fly Fair Internatonal show 2014.

 Well last weekend was the best show of the year, for all who are into fly tying and fishing. and have to say this one always gets better every year, if you did not make it this year make sure you go next year. above myself doing my thing when not fishing, Just cant thank cookshill for running such a fine show.
 Above, Gareth Lewis the micro fly man. Gareth is a great mate of mine, and have watch him tying his flies on size 32 hooks just amazing.
 And above, one of the up and coming tiers. i say that but Llan seems to have been around for an age. and a fine tier of small flies,
 And above, the one and only Hans . he was tying next to me and have to say, what a treat to watch him tie.
 Paul Harkin was also tying, just love his spey flies.
 The MASTER, Paul Little. what can we say about him, just an out of this world tier. and a pleasure to watch tying,
 Above Scott Kane DEERCREEK PRO TIER, one of the made Scotch men that were at the show, i was in the same room at the hotel with Scott what a snorrrrrrer

Last flies before BFFI show.

 Well this is my last update before the British Fly Fair International show, still been playing with some classics. above a free style take on a spey fly, and one that still fishes very well these days despite being a old pattern. HERE IS LINK TO SHOW http://www.bffi.co.uk/
 And above, showing how the wing of bronze mallard. should meet on top of the wing like a keel of a boat.
 Above, some of the flies that went out this last week,
 Above, the Kinermoney Killer, on a 1" inch Ally tube.
 Again another popular fly the last two seasons, my take on the cascade. the firetiger cascade,
 This fly as been flying out, the ever successful  Uskgrub salmon and sewin just love this one. tied on a size 14 Ian Drury treble.
 And above, my take of the Uskgrub on a 1" Ally tube. again a good fisher,
 Above, the two Uskgrub's together. size 8 & 14 Drury trebles and 1" tube's.
 Above, a set of size 10 & 12 doubles for the river Dovey.
 Above, a fly of mine that caught a lot of sewin on the river Towy, in the day and night.
 Again, same fly with out tail, still a good taking pattern day and night.

 And my go to fly, the black and silver snake fly 1" long.
And this is a cracker, another go to fly for many salmon anglers. the Poshtosh tube 11/2" long tied with pearl head, will that it for this week. next weekend its the best show in the UK for fly tiers and fly fisherman the BFFI Show, cant wait to get there and catch up with a lot of my mates. and sure will make more as always,
