Lots Going on,

Hi, I have not posted for a long time, been very busy tying also trying to get a bit of fishing in. plus writing for Flyfishing & flytying magazine, The weather has been up and down again this year. with little water in the rivers and low numbers of fish in the rivers as well, there have been some nice fish caught. my mate Ken Evans has had a few good springer salmon off the river Usk to 23lb. and in the last three seasons Ken has landed 102 salmon. one hell of a record for these times, plus a few off the river Towy were i do most of my fishing, a number of salmon springs plus some sewin ( sea trout) , some of the sewin going to 16lb.

 Above, are the springs my mate Ken had last month on the river Usk. 10lb /18lb amd 23lbjust super clean springs,

 These above, are for my own box, black and silver waddington shank, plus pink and blue.
 The Pink and blue, great pattern for fresh fish and works well on light nights.
 Black and silver, just a colour combo that workd so well.

 The black shrimp, these are what Ken has had a number of his salmon on these.
