Fish are Flies all the way.

 Well manged to have a morning out Sunday, with my mate John Watkins. who has started fly fishing this season, we went down to the river Towy on the Abercothi beat. had a take on my 2nd cast 8.00am but the fish came adrift, and then at 9.10am had another take which was the fish below. nice bright sealiced fish lots of fish starting to come into the system, but will say we are about 4/5 weeks behind in the season. 

 

 Above is the tube fly i was using, 3/4" copper tube gold holographic body and copper mirage flash.

 Still tying a lot, above some of the flies, which went up to North Wales. for the river Dee and and a Scotland trip,

 Above and below, my mate Alun with a cracker of a sewin. is 2nd double this season,

 Another Usk springer to my mate Ken Evans, both guys fishing well.
